This is got to be one of the easiest recipes to make, simple Stroganoff. I will be honest here it took me while to actually try to make this recipe from scratch. I just had in my mind that it was too complicate. I could not be more wrong.
Stroganoff is so easy and only takes 7 ingredients to make from way to go.
Brown the meat, add in mushrooms if you have them. If I don’t have mushrooms it is no big deal leave them out.
Then add in all the spices, ginger, garlic, cardamom, sweet paprika and stock. You will need around 1 to 1 ½ cups of stock and this will depend on the amount of meat you cook.
Allow everything to simmer until the liquid reduces slightly not too much you want a rich sauce. Then turn the heat off and add in about 2 tablespoons of Greek yoghurt. And that’s all there is to it, See the full recipe here.
Chicken Cordon Blue
This recipe is not only quick to make and cook, but will certainly become a family favourite in no time at all. Honestly, I tend to shy away from recipes that look to complicated and would take way too long to make no matter how tasty it is.
Simply, use chicken breast for this recipe, cut through the middle but not all the way. Place cheese (any cheese will work, as long as it melts well) I love to use a really strong tasty cheese to cut through the chicken. I then put in the same size sliced ham, if you like too. I do forgo the ham if I don’t have any on hand. If we can avoid doing a extra trip to the shops then I am all for it, especially in these times.

Making your own pasta is unbelievably easy and should be tried at least once by everyone. I know packet pasta is really cheap to buy, but pasta you have made yourself and topped with something from the garden or the fridge, is so incredibly satisfying, thrifty and delicious! It’s great to have as a “oh my goodness, we’re out of food” meal as you only need two kitchen staple ingredients. Flour and eggs.
In a bowl, add your flour and eggs and mix with a spoon or your hands until it comes together in a dough. Knead for a few minutes until it becomes smooth. Cut it into 4 pieces. Ensure the dough is kept lightly floured to ensure it doesn’t stick.
Once it’s ready to cook, drop it into some rapidly boiling salted water and cook for around 2 minutes until al dente, then toss into your favourite sauce.
That’s all there is to it. If you’ve always been put off trying your own homemade pasta, I really hope you give this super-simple method a try. Enjoy the full recipe details here.
