Let’s face it, Dad’s are never very easy to buy for, and Father’s Day is right around the corner. Sunday 1 September is the day, which leaves just over a week to find something special for the important man in your life.
If your guy has a bit of a sweet tooth, why not get the kids involved and make him some homemade rocky road, brownies or choc-chip biscuits? The kids can then decorate, paint or colour a brown paper bag with their own personal touch, and fill with their tasty creations. My kids love to see who can make Dad the biggest biscuit, or who can cram in the most chocolate chips! Thankfully, Dad is happy to do extensive taste-testing of each biscuit and usually concludes that they are all equally delicious.
Don’t have a sweet-tooth Dad? Here are a few good websites that have a range of different gift ideas that your Dad might like. We especially love the Father’s Day photo desk stand from Hard to Find – just beautiful.
This website has plenty of beautiful and unique gifts for Dad. Many of them can be personalised and there’s currently free shipping for Aussies on a range of selected items.
If your dad enjoys being active, then Adrenaline will have something your Dad will love. They have a range of adventures to choose from, just select your State and your budget. They offer plenty of experiences from rally driving, abseiling and helicopter rides, to beer tastings and escape room experiences.
For the Dad that enjoys a good read. Booktopia has a seemingly endless range of great titles that your book-lover Dad will want to add to his collection.
And if you’re still stuck for something to give to your Dad, a warm squeezy hug and a heartfelt “I love you” is usually plenty. Happy Father’s Day Dads xx
